Despite the delay in the formal application being submitted from developers GSE for the proposed 70 acre HGV lorry park in the protected Kent Downs National Landscape (AONB), the PROL Action Group have been working tirelessly behind the scenes on your behalf.
Recent highlighted news (attached) is the establishment of a Petition and Go fund me page, liaison with various elected council members and our MP for Dover, Mike Tapp. We have collated our actions, future plans and a call for your support in the attached newsletter. We continue to engage with a range of stakeholders with a vested interest in preserving and conserving areas of outstanding natural beauty such as the iconic Dover White Cliffs Heritage Coastline and Kent Downs National Landscape.
We continue to advocate that the Court Wood Lorry Park is a proposal clearly situated in the wrong place and will not only destroy and change irrevocably the Kent Downs Landscape in the Dover District , but actually contribute to further vehicle congestion, noise, air and light pollution and traffic problems in Dover and surrounding areas.
